Plan your day with Google
Daily planning with Google does not require a complex system. You need a reliable morning check-in, a short list of priorities, and one place to see calendar and tasks together.
Morning routine (10 minutes)
- Open Today view. See today's calendar events and due tasks in one place. Note conflicts and open time blocks.
- Triage tasks. Pick three priorities for the day. Move or reschedule the rest — updates sync to Google Tasks.
- Protect focus time. Block 60–90 minutes on Google Calendar for your top task if the day is meeting-heavy.
- Check the week. Glance at the week calendar for upcoming deadlines and adjust before they become urgent.
- Close the loop. End of day: mark done tasks complete, slide unfinished items to tomorrow, skim tomorrow's agenda.
Why Sunrise for this routine
Google's apps split calendar and tasks. Sunrise's Today view and upcoming agenda put them on one screen — synced with Google, free on the web. You plan; Google stores your data.
