Security at Sunrise
We take the security of your workspace data seriously.
Authentication
Sunrise uses Google OAuth for sign-in. We never store your Google password. Sessions are managed through Better Auth with secure, HTTP-only cookies on the app domain.
Data storage
Your workspace data — tasks, projects, teams, and activity — is stored in Cloudflare D1 (SQLite) databases, hosted on Cloudflare's global network. Data is scoped to your tenant and not shared across organizations.
Google API access
Sunrise accesses Google Tasks and Google Calendar only to provide the features you use. We comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell your Google user data.
Infrastructure
The Sunrise app runs on Cloudflare Workers. The marketing site is served as static files on Cloudflare Pages. Both benefit from Cloudflare's DDoS protection and edge network.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal or workspace data.
- We do not use your Google data for advertising.
- We do not share your data with third parties except as needed to operate the service (e.g., Google APIs, Cloudflare hosting).
